Pausing to See

One of the most wonder-struck times of my day is when I take a moment to spy "my picture of the day." I'm invited to look beyond the reality of what is in front of me to see the awe, the wonder hidden in full view. These moments, and usually they only take a moment to see them, bring into view the beauty and creativity of My God, the Great Creator, the Divine Artist. He shares Himself with me in these moments and I feel His Presence as a little/big gift wrapped up with a beautiful bow on top. That's one way I'm learning to practice His Presence and "be still and know" that He is God.
